The raw truth is that providing great support is hard, very hard. The evolution we’ve gone through over the past decade testifies to this fact. Whether it was moving all our support in-house, offering weekend appointments, or instituting mandatory weekend training, we have learned the hard way, through experience, that great support isn’t easy. We have learned that there are many elements that makeup great support, starting of course with great staff (e.g. our Geniuses), an integrated team approach, direct involvement of senior management, and a locked in process that constantly re-evaluates itself.

Great Staff – HiPoint follows a flat-tiered approach to support, with all staff being highly competent members of our Genius Squad. These Geniuses can address a wide range of user concerns such as resolving internet connectivity issues, instructing users on how to set various advanced phone features, and making basic billing adjustments. HiPOINT History

We've been in business for over a decade. Here are some major milestone along the way.

1991

Launched Engineering Consulting Firm, but soon changed focus towards IT Consulting Services

2003

Launched innovative HiPOINT High Speed Internet services that leveraged bulk purchasing with a focused launch area strategy.

New services leveraging fiber optic technology to deliver much higher speeds at more reasonable prices.

2009

HiPOINT completes phase 1 build-out of new Gigabit Hub with private wireless infrastructure covering most of Chicagoland.

HiPOINT also shifts support strategy to new innovative Genius Squad model that extends support beyond normal ISP limits.

2010

HiPOINT completes phase 2 infrastructure build-out with network reach extending beyond Chicago to the northern suburbs. Also, to accommodate extensive growth, HiPOINT relocates to larger offices in Jeffereson Park.

2011

HiPOINT completes phase 3 infrastructure build-out with network extension to bustling West Loop of Chicago. HiPOINT completes major upgrade to its Business Class phone services infrastructure incorporating clustered servers with multiple carriers.

2012

HiPOINT launches advanced client portal providing a wide range of features including ability to submit tickets, lookup past invoices, make payments, adjust phone settings, download user guides, and view training modules. HiPOINT expands service offerings to include video services (US Only).

2014

HiPOINT establishes The Sofia Fund, a charitable initiative to support multiple humanitarian causes. A key organization that receives support from this fund is the Migrant Offshore Aid Station (www.moas.eu). The organization is dedicated to mitigating the loss of life at sea; they provide professional search and rescue assistance to refugees and migrants in distress at sea.

2016

HiPOINT expands efforts internationally by initiating HiPOINT Connect in India, a new ISP specializing in commercial high speed Internet and phone services. As part of its focussed launch area strategy, HiPOINT intends to launch services in

2017 - '18

HiPOINT launched HiPOINT Connect in India, TechnoPark in Trivandrum.

2019

HiPOINT launched in Kochi Infopark.
